ICANN leader shares vision for growth and a global Internet - doranspold1936

In his first year heading the Internet Corporation for Appointed Name calling and Numbers, Fadi Chehade has tried to give a more international ICANN by opening hubs in Turkey, Singapore, Beijing, and Geneva.

IDGNS: How has ICANN improved in the last year?

Chehade: In the last class, we receive done three main things; one, we have successfully changed the posture of ICANN, from an organization that was very centric towards Europe and U.S.A. We are tossing a lot of our faculty and resources from California to the new-sprung offices opening in Turkey, Capital of Singapore, Beijing, and Geneva.

IDGNS: The Internationalization of ICANN has been a thorny issue for ITU how is this ever-changing?

There are many international organizations we need to process with and this is a journeying that starts with a posture change.
